EMS Vehicle Operator Safety Online Instructor Updateselected product title

The NAEMT Instructor Update for the second edition of EMS Vehicle Operator Safety is designed specifically for all approved EVOS instructors to prepare them to teach the second edition of EMS Vehicle Operator Safety. This update will highlight the course features, review changes to the course content, and share best practices for utilizing the course components. After successfully completing the instructor update, qualified instructors may begin teaching EVOS, without being monitored teaching their first course.

EMS Vehicle Operator Safety, First Edition instructor status or approval from NAEMT is required for completion. After successfully completing the online instructor update, EVOS instructors may begin teaching the second edition of EMS Vehicle Operator Safety. Instructors of the following national driving courses-CEVO II, CEVO 3, VFIS EVDT, or NHTSA EVOC-may request approval to become an EVOS instructor at education@naemt.org. Instructors of local driving courses may also be eligible to transition to EVOS. 

NOTE: Only current EMS Vehicle Operator Safety, First Edition instructors or NAEMT-approved instructors will be recognized as EMS Vehicle Operator Safety, Second Edition instructors following the completion of this course.
