This interactive lecture explores how the skeletal muscle and thoracoabdominal pumps work, and the functioning of the electrical conduction system. It also details cardiac monitors, lead placement, and the components of the ECG rhythm. It teaches rhythm interpretation and common injury patterns, such as conduction disturbances, and STEMI imposters.

After completing this course, the practitioner will be able to:

• Interpret rhythms on a 12-lead ECG.
• Recognize STEMIs and STEMI imposters.
