A Safety and Health Program for All Industries details how an organization will perform its safety and health compliance responsibilities. It can be prepared for an entire company, a site, or a specific project. In this course, you will learn about the seven major elements of an SHP.

By taking this course and completing it successfully, you will be able to:

• Identify the reasons for a Safety and Health Program where you work.
• Recognize basic guidelines for safety and health programs as recommended by OSHA at the federal level, as well as some state-OSHA requirements.
• List the seven core elements of a Safety and Health Program, and identify action items for these elements.
• Recognize where to find helpful resources for creating safety and health programs for your workplace.
• Identify ways to best structure, personalize, and implement your organization's safety and health program for preventing or reducing injuries and illnesses in your workplace.

Employees who successfully complete Safety and Health Programs will receive a completion card for 1.0 hours of continuing education.
