  • Describe how to properly handle hazardous materials, including flammable and combustible liquids and gases, and
  • Describe how to ensure that hazardous materials, including flammable and combustible liquids and gases, are stored, handled, and used in accordance with all applicable codes, standards, and policies.
  • Describe the fire protection systems and equipment that are appropriate for use with hazardous materials, including flammable and combustible liquids and gases.

Fire inspectors who successfully complete the Ensuring Proper Storage and Handling Practices (Fire Edition) course are eligible for 1.0 hours of continuing education.
